Hi @kk9265 . Does this work properly for you with version 1.19.5? We recently addressed an issue related to processing headers with source-file file extensions.
from vscode-cpptools.
the log output looks fine~
no *.o files matter?
it will work fine at the beginning , then broken, then reopen, everything is ok again, then loop...please help, thx~

@Colengms ok
i figure out the problem is memory problem.when i enlarge my memory, and set the cache into 1G( 5G by default ),everything seems to work fine. if when the memory not enough, the cpp_svr is waiting sth, and begins to not work.
my version is 1.19.7

Hi @kk9265 . In your log which shows multiple "(received)", but no "(invoked)", I believe you encountered a deadlock that was addressed in a 1.19.8.
from vscode-cpptools.
@kk9265 Our pending 1.19.9 release has additional crashes in the memory cleanup case that could also potentially fix the deadlock: #12121 (see also #12097 ).
