I assume they have different values. Can you select by the value?
Yes, selection by value works fine. I also think that having the same values looks strange and it doesn't matter which one we choose. So, maybe we can leave it as is. Thanks for your answers!

I don't think we need an option, but we should make sure you can select a nested item by the title or value.

It works for the selection by value for sure. But I forgot to mention that in my case there are 2 options with the same name in different groups. I know it's a bit strange, but currently I don't know how to select the second one. So proposed setting could help in this case.
