The "it is not a function" error about playwright-test HOT 7 CLOSED

Does using test not work for you or was somewhere a broken example?

Well, yeah I can use test, and also it looks like the default export is also the test function. The problem is that all examples in the documentation are importing it. For example:

import { it, expect } from "@playwright/test";

it("is a basic test with the page", async ({ page }) => {
  await page.goto("https://playwright.dev/");
  const name = await page.innerText(".navbar__title");
  expect(name).toBe("Playwright");
});

But frankly speaking the test function also didn't work for me. It said that I can't use test() outside of test file, but I've switched to another task so I haven't created an issue.
