No error when compiling package (with error) about oradew-vscode HOT 8 CLOSED

Can you please provide more information. (What kind of error are you expecting, Output window, code that you're compiling - if that is possible,...)

I insert unreconized character in my package body:

No allert in the terminal/output/problem window.

If I use the command "Compile current file" instead, I have this in Problem window:

but no info about the line of error.

Please try again with "Compile current file" and hopefully you should see the error.

Extension detected that your package has changed or better that it was compiled on DB after it was imported into workspace (maybe from some other user) so it tries to prevent you from overriding the changes on DB with a merge step.

The next version of extension will include "compile.force" config parameter to disable this feature as it may won't be needed in every use case. :)

Ok, if I update package from DB, and then "Compile current file", it works right.
Yes, I think that "compile.force" is usefull.

@DanRic , There is a property in oradewrc.json configuration:
"compile.force": true

Maybe It doesnt' work?
