Implementing this would hardly increase the complexity. Additional, what is the expected behavior of:

parallel.from([1, 2, 3]).map(x => x * 2).run().filter(x => x % 5 === 0)

Would the second chain set up on the intermediate result or recalculating the whole chain? Therefore, a more explicit api is preferred. But considering a continuation api that may also support chaining multiple parallel jobs (where continuation is also supported from the scheduling perspective)

parallel.from([1, 2, 3]).map(x => x * 2).run().continueWith(chain => chain.filter(x => x % 5 === 0))

from parallel.es.

Die extra run()-Methode finde ich künstlich, zumal es hier ein deklaratives Konzept ist (wie Reactive).
