Yes, we're committed to doing this over time. I'm closing the issue just to keep the list culled down.

@debergalis What does "doing this over time" mean? If I submit a pull request that converts everything to camel case, would you accept it?

Sure. Though I'd rather see the pull request come in chunks, just to keep the code churn manageable.

(Internal changes are easy. API changes need to be thought through carefully, probably using the "past" package to preserve the old calling conventions.)

@debergalis I'm more concerned about using conventional casing in API. Do you think we need to preserve old calling conventions for v0.x? Also, which branch should I work off of?
