jquery widget not working with requireJS about outlayer HOT 2 CLOSED

Thanks for this suggestion. But the intention is that jQuery is optional. Adding jquery-bridget makes it mandatory, requiring that jQuery be added for all instances. I feel the best solution is to add jQuery Bridget separately. See related Webpack docs;

To use Masonry as a jQuery plugin with Webpack, you need to use jQuery Bridget

npm install jquery-bridget

var $ = require('jquery');
var jQueryBridget = require('jquery-bridget');
var Masonry = require('masonry-layout');
// make Masonry a jQuery plugin
jQueryBridget( 'masonry', Masonry, $ );
