The instructions successfully produce an html page.

If you have the opportunity to include steps for getting directus running, they would be useful. I assume the outline I shared above is roughly accurate regarding required steps. How to perform each correctly wasn't clear to me to the extent I was able to explore options.

The result of simply replacing the html file with the entirety of the Directus repository and running ddev pnpm install returns the following:

The objective of this project is to start directus automatically as a service in ddev project (using the official docker image).
If you followed the instructions, directus is listenning on port 8055 of the project :
For example : https://simple-php-project.ddev.site:8055
