Signup failed because of unknown reason about simple-android-instant-messaging-application HOT 8 OPEN

the same is happening with me. I tried doing it on the emulator and there is no 
action after i click the sign up button.for some reason it just doesn't work. 

same problem with me any one know how to solve it

use the xampp package.it ll work fine then

which xamp pakage is to use... ?

If you use XAMPP instead of WAMP it works perfectly, but I can't explain why. 

but i have to use it on 000Webhost server then what should i do......

steps I took that produced the problem
1. install the application
2. click on menu and tap sign up
3. fill the form and tap on sign up button.

What is the expected output? 
it should create entry for a new user.

What do you see instead?
nothing happens for a while and then the android app crashes

On what operating system?
 windows 7

when i call http://localhost/android_im/?action=testWebAPI , it become 0
I have tryed both xampp and wamp packages and both give same results
