- I agree that this is duplication which is not so nice, however, we do auto-generation based on the proto files, and I'm not sure whether it would break it. Sometimes some duplication is ok because it makes it simpler and easier to read.
- Yes, but my goal is to have an easy to use API so that the user doesn't have to care that there are two different messages which should just be an implementation detail.
- Correct, you need to use a couple of plugins together for a camera server. You might even need the FtpServer plugin as well, once it exists (I'm working on it).
- Hmm, no? There are int, float, and string (https://github.com/mavlink/MAVSDK-Proto/blob/main/protos/param_server/param_server.proto#L11-L51) That should be enough, no?
