@mauriciovigolo There is a typo in the posted version, which causes it to fail: keycloak-js@"^18 || ^19 || ^20 || ^21 || ^22 || ^23 || ˆ24"

Notice the last ^ symbol.

Hello @b-thiswatch,
Yes, you are correct it is indeed an issue and something to improve, sorry for that!

I'll release a new version of this library in Q2 to keep it more up-to-date with the latest Angular features and also to cover some of the issues discussed in the last years, such as:

  • Server-side rendering
  • Better support for Angular capacitor
  • Multi-tenant applications
  • Improve the way to handle the keycloak-js releases and compatibility.
  • Examples for all these scenarios
  • Better documentation including everything that we learned so far and that people struggle.
  • Clean the open issues and PRs list. (Will work on it this week)

About Keycloak dependency update, I will try to create some automation on the process, so we don't have this existing issue happening.

Thank you for opening the issue and sorry for any inconvenience. I will release the support for it today.

Sorry about the typo. It only affects 15.2.0, version 14.3.0 has the correct character.

Problem fixed in [email protected].

Note: [email protected] is now deprecated to avoid new issues related to this. Please update your package.json accordingly.

Hey @mauriciovigolo,
first of all thanks for maintaining this nice wrapper for angular and keycloak-js.

We are updating our Keycloak frequently since it is an important service for us. Unfortunately, the updates of keycloak-angular have been lagging behind quite a bit. Most of the time (but not always) it's not a real problem, but just version constraints that would make our build fail (because we don't want to use --force, e.g.).

Is there anything the community can do to speed up dependency updates? It would be great if we somehow could "fasttrack" those updates where no feature updates are required.

Thanks a lot!
