Turns out you need to parse the response from the authorize
callback if anyone finds this the following code worked for me:
authorize(
rfidTag,
[](JsonObject confMsg) {
const char *status = confMsg["idTagInfo"]["status"];
if (String("Accepted").equals(status)) {
startTransaction([](JsonObject conf) {
Log.infoln("[EVSE] Successfully authorized and started transaction");
EasyBuzzer.beep(1000, 2);
setState(true);
});
} else {
Log.infoln("status=%s", status);
ledController.setColor(RED);
EasyBuzzer.beep(700, 2);
}
},
nullptr, nullptr,
[](const char *code, const char *description, JsonObject details) {
printError(code, description);
setState(false);
});
