I've responded to the forum post with my preferred method to refer users to a running Jupyter notebook with examples specific to the contributed dataset. The notebook can of course be extended to get additional core data from MPRester.

Can we re-open this? I'd really like to be able to support this too, I needed BoltzTrap data for something recently and it'd be really nice to be able to do what @dwinston was suggesting.
This is complementary to the notebooks, which I think are a really nice way for data exploration and introducing a dataset.
