Data Analysis for First Year Lab at Imperial College London: to be used exclusively for personal reference, and for reference in lab books/reports.
The determination of an intensity profile for single-slit and double-slit diffraction patterns, as compared to a theoretical model. Values for slit width and separation were obtained to same-order of magnitude level of precision by these predictions.
The determination of the Rydberg Constant using a spectrometer. The final result was found to be accurate to within 0.64% of the established value, with a precision of 0.44%.
Statistical Analysis of Data from CERN's Large Hadron Collider, which culminated in the discovery of the Higgs' Boson. Completed as part of First Year's Statistics of Measurement Group Project.
