MySQL not starting on master node when using Ubuntu. about puppet-galera HOT 6 CLOSED

Which version of ubuntu are you using, which vendor are you using, and which repo are the packages coming from?

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with all the defaults, percona and the default percona repository.

Ah...this might be a mariadb/percona difference. I'll have to add a different bootstrap command for the exec based on vendor.

Could you try this out? I think I was originally doing this, but when I started using mariadb found it doesn't have the bootstrap script, and erroneously assumed that Percona would function similarly with parameters to the init script.
