That's also something I noticed with WiFi. Can come from the CC3000 chip, it would be interesting to test it with the latest firmware of the chip. It can also come from the memory problem you mentioned in Issue #3 , I noticed that when I am close from the maximum memory used on the Arduino board the board gets stuck more often.

This problem is now fixed by adding the watchdog in the sketch with the CC3000 chip. If the board gets stuck, it will automatically reboot. Also the latest version of aREST responds much faster now.
