Unable to set App version number in Windows about wail HOT 5 CLOSED

This might be in the build config created with pyinstaller.

It's present in the About box in-app but not without launching it.

Using a pyinstaller spec file instead of a one-off build would probably work better here. Given it's non-functional nature and that the version number is still in the About box, bumping up the milestone.

Per the Pyinstaller docs:
-v FILE, --version=FILE
add verfile as a version resource to the executable. (Windows only)
This requires rudimentary testing to verify if the version number of the compiled app is correctly associated with the binary.

Further, a manifest file (see http://www.samlogic.net/articles/manifest.htm for an example) can be appended using pyinstaller's --manifest flag
