I'll have a look at this.

But to be honest: If at all possible, please use GraphicsMagick and not ImageMagick! ImageMagick seems to primarily create their libraries for usage in their own command line tools. The interfaces are not stable so you would basically have to recompile graphlcd-base with every ImageMagick update as the interface will always be incompatible with new ImageMagick versions.

But now as I'm writing this: Will also put this on my TODO list to add a note about that to the README file and to the Make.config.

This should not be a problem with Gentoo.
