First of all, very nice project!

Just want to let you know this bug I've found. If you go in the opposite verse of the jump under the Eiffel tower, you can pass trough the wall and go behind the map, it's a really nice bug indeed, like taking the subway ahahahah

At this point there is no limit and Mario goes over the wall and ends up outside the map.

It looks like he manages to clip into the wall and then is shifted upwards while he is inside of it.
This also allows Mario to go out of bounds and fall trough the map

Game settings:

The launch Screen has the ability to scroll to see the press enter to start. You are also able to press enter while still on the launch screen.

My screen size is 1920x1080.
This error disappears at the screen size of 1600x900.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the laptop I use, but Mario likes to start snapping/flying into corners and such.

When navigating backward by pressing the back button or engaging reverse gear, the reverse sound effect is missing.

I'm interested in contributing to this issue.

Allows for navigation in game and improves user experience if wanting an input switch.

If you have serious ambitions for the project, and for the sake of potential contributors, I urge maintainers to consider a slightly different name. You don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention...

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen

Before starting the game, when giving the username it is not taking fast-type keywords it is skipping and glitching the keywords.

The keyboard has keys to press.
The gamepad has buttons to press.

But for mobile, there is no button or key. Thus, a button HUD element should be displayed during gameplay. If pressed, the user will exit the game and be navigated back to the landing page.

The button may as well be available for Keyboard players in case their escape key (refer to issue #20) isn't working.

I don't think the button should be displayed for Gamepad since players won't be able to directly click/tap it).

When Mario grabs a coin, there is currently no sound emmitted.
For a proper gameplay, this is an expected feature

The Environment of the Game is too dull and light effects the eye contrasting its a awesome but the color is too dull and dim

It will be difficult for the contributors if they are not able to have a consistant format.

Have a PR for this.
Much faster installation.
Better package integration.
In the current version some dependencies are missing

Using pnpm would improve the package management and avoid this kind of thing.

Mario does not jump the same height whenever the jump button is pressed. Sometimes, it's like he doesn't jump at all

Steps to reproduce: Drift all the time around the roundabout and at a certain moment you will almost be unable to go forward unless you realease the key.
Controls uses: Keyboard only.

Game feels also a bit laggy but i think this is a problem from my Intel UHD Graphics 630.

Issue

If I go to https://mario-kart-3-js.vercel.app/, it says:

Additional information

I suppose this might have happened due to Vercel's 100GB bandwidth limit, which this project probably already reached with the growth of popularity. As an alternative, you can use Cloudlare Pages, which has no limit for this.

Please note, that Cloudflare has 500 builds per month limit though, but it's only applicable if you connect it though GitHub bot. Instead, you can use GitHub Actions to build it on GitHub machines for free and just upload the static output files. Example: https://github.com/satelllte/displacementx/blob/main/.github/workflows/ci.yml. This way, there won't be any limits at all 👌🏻
