configurator-ng
only supports it's own proprietary configuration syntax, though it's pretty simple and straightforward. (moreso than TOML, in my opinion) And this configuration syntax is very closely related to the syntax accepted by Bryan O'Sullivan's original configurator
, in that configurator-ng
will identically parse the vast majority of configurator
files (the only exception being configurator-ng
's introduction of datum comments #;
, which configurator
would interpret as a regular to-end-of-line comment), though there are several syntactic extensions understood by configurator-ng
that are not accepted by configurator
as detailed in the README.
You might be able to take some of the same ideas for a TOML parsing/validating library, though.
