virtualenv gives me a error, but the WSL solution did the trick.

I have not thoroughly tested the program on Windows.
You might try executing the bot in a Python virtualenv as that gives full permissions for all files inside of it.
If this does not work you could install WSL with which I can confirm the bot is fully compatible.

I will do a bit more testing on Windows but as of now I will advise using WSL in the README.md file.
