That specific error came up when the hardware failed on our vps. I had to rebuild the box from scratch, couldn't install Ruby 2.7 on the current Ubuntu LTS, so updated the app to Ruby 3. For full details check out the lobsters-ansible repo, commits start here and then most all commits the next two weeks are related.
Complicating this, our CI workflow previously had an error that labeled it as a "deployment", so GH listed build failures as failed deploys. I fixed it here. We have never used GitHub for deployment, so the official-looking page you link is entirely nonsense and I have no way to correct it.
