Hi @chunhualiao ,
The expectation here is only for C or Fortran too? Since offloading for Fortran would require building OpenMP separately for that and it is a bit tedious.

We do want to have both C and Fortran if possible. Can you elaborate the issues with building OpenMP Fortran?

I am confused between using gfortran or flang for Fortran. I would like to build with offload capability and let you know if I face any issues. Currently, Flang is developed under two active projects.
https://github.com/flang-compiler/flang/wiki
Although Flang supports OpenMP for multicore architectures, it has no capability of offloading parallel regions to the accelerator device.

So, now I remain with gfortran. I am yet to explore this. But I am refering to this doc
The major prerequisite for building OpenMP with offloading support is that gcc version cannot be over 7.
and wondering why so. Probably, I would update you on this once I am done trying this.

Sure. Thanks

#29 Completed for C. I will be producing the similar cases in F95. Post that, I will be closing this issue.
