OpenSSL.crypto.Error: [('asn1 encoding routines', 'ASN1_mbstring_ncopy', 'string too short')] about stonevpn HOT 4 CLOSED

I followed your hunch and did some digging. Turns out organizationalUnitName_default was the culprit. It was sent to a blank string. Appears this was intentional for easy-rsa, where my openssl.cnf came from. Thanks!!

Just a guess though, but maybe the value for countryName_default in your openssl.cnf is incorrect (too few characters, usually 2).

Cool :) The issue is still good to know though, because stonevpn should've picked this up. I'll add this 'bug' to the todo list.
