Hi,
It's nice to know we have one more user, thank you. Please note that apart from quotas and IO limiting we also provide few other new features, including Access Control Lists.
As for support for global locks, we don't plan it to do it very soon. There are 2 possibilities how it can be fastened. Either we'll recognize it as something that is widly needed and we'll decide to invest our time in doing it or we'll find a client that is willing to pay for the development of this feature (that was the case with quotas, io limiting and other).
Best.

Unfortunately I did not find a complete feature list on either lizardfs.org or the new website lizardfs.com.
It would be nice if you could provide a complete feature list(not like the ones in presentations(....etc.)). A roadmap and maybe some kind of vote for proposed new features. I have seen this method at other projects and seemd like a good ideea.
Thank you for the quick respounse.

And a donate button under each feature request? :)

Seem like a good ideea.
The implemented features should be calculated from the number of votes and donations for that feature. Don't you agree?

@georgyous have a look what the bacula project had under the name "Bacula Vote" - as long as this was in use, the project made great progress. Once they stopped doing it, it went to worse.
Donate button per feature: great idea.

That is why I proposed such a system. Vyatta had such a system and they made good progress also. As I see it, it is a simple method for attracting community and consumers to the project.
I am using the opportunity to ask for an update on the new version, maybe an approximated release date?
Thank you

There are 2 open issues related to file locking, so I decided to close the older one.
Ref: #290
By the way, global locking support is a work-in-progress.
