This issue should now be fixed. Works fine one a clean installation on a mac with no "html5lib" preinstalled.

I'm also stuck with this problem.
It happens to me after the installation of the app-debug.apk.

Please and thanks.

It seems that it's an issue with the html5lib in our case.
All we did was install https://pypi.python.org/pypi/html5lib.

@jandyle , just to be clear, the issue is resolved with the install of html5lib outside of QARK right? We'll take a look either way, since it should not have been an issue. Could you provide some basic system details such as OS + version and anything else you think could be helpful?

jandyle avatar jandyle commented on August 18, 2024

Yes, that's all we did. We traced the issue to this method. It jumps straight to the exception.

We're using OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5
Python 2.7.8

The issue is resolved for me as well, but only after installing html5lib outside qark. Machine info: Mac 10.9.5 Python 2.7.10

Akshay,

Did you try the html5lib upgrade as mentioned above? Seems to have worked
for others.

I'm seeing this issue only when I analyze source. If I analyze an APK, everything is fine. I've got html5lib installed in my OS and I am removing the report/ folder each time. Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

When the error occurs, there does seem to be a partial report left behind. However, compared with a report for the corresponding APK, there is much less which leads me to believe it is incomplete.

Thank you for any update or workarounds you may have for this issue.

Can you share a sample code where you are able to reproduce this issue? We have run some tests on our end and cant seem to reproduce the issue. Cheers!
