Can you post the minimal code sample to reproduce your issue?
from libgdx.
resize()
returns a size of 0 when the window is minimised on LWJGL3. This can cause problems, especially if you're generating fonts based on this size (though my memory is it just crashes if you try to generate a 0-size font).
I agree we'd need to know more about your code, but my money's on you not handling window resizes of 0 dimensions. A quick hack you can try is enclosing your resize logic in if (width > 0 && height > 0)
.

You're absolutely right! The problem was indeed in resize(). When resize(0, 0) is called inside my code some variables were getting the value NaN and then they are used to call font.setScale(NaN, NaN). NaN is not handled inside BitmapFontData.setScale and ruin all fields, after that it stored in this.scaleX, this.scaleY fields.
The next time a call with normal window size occurs after the window is restored and my internal variables get a normal number, the fields stored inside BitmapFontData remain NaN and nothing can change them.
Checking if (width > 0 && height > 0)
- really solves this problem.
Thanks for the quick tip!
