hmm, I just found 2fd08f9 that changed the GPLv2 to LGPL
so, I'm guessing the license is LGPL but the files haven't had their headers changed yet (?)

Exactly, like you guessed it's LGPL and we forgot to change the headers. I'll do that soon (and get rid of this firm professional talking).
(Note that unlike libfirm, the cparser frontend is and stays GPL)

I implemented a radical solution in 6911c8a, we simply state which project the file belongs to. The rest can be found in the COPYING file.
