In general, this change would only make things worse for you, by causing even more certificates to fall under the same "Certificates Per Registered Domain" bucket (azure.com
, instead of the narrower cloudapp.azure.com
). The only reason it happens to make things better in this particular case is because the azure.com
domain happens to have a rate limit override -- but that override is small, and old, and will likely still not be able to satisfy the total population of Azure Cloudapp customers.
I'm sorry, but I have to say that updating the PSL is not the correct solution to the rate limit issue you are running in to. We will update it, but likely not until the conversation on the PSL itself has been resolved.
