Can you try that exact command from a shell and see what happens?

The program 'curl' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt install curl

but still would be better to handle the error

I see a new client IP address downloaded /best-network a few times, but I don't see any submitted games from it. You let autogtp finish to the end? The games I generate are like 400-500 moves.

There is a message on the console if the server confirms reception.

"Game data stored in database" or something like that. @roy7 would remember (he wrote the server)

The games are of pretty arbitrary length because the network is random. But they usually last over 27 moves, yes.

The IP that downloaded the best network without uploading any games might have been mine - due to a mistake on my part, curl was silently failing to upload.
