Note that LLVM 3.0 will still ship with it (or the release_30
at the Git mirrors is broken), so this is something to keep in mind for the future, but not needing an »emergency fix« – I'd say that once we have a proper fix, we'll merge it in.

Thanks for the explanation. I built LLVM trunk on Gentoo Linux some days ago. Because of this issue, I couldn't compile LDC. I was not really aware of the fact that trunk is already the branch for the next release cycle.
