Error while decoding JSON [HTML]: about lua-telegram-bot HOT 2 CLOSED

Yeap. Tends to get a little too spammy. So I had to mod the lua-bot-api.lua code to following:

  --print((os.date("%x %X")), "Error while decoding JSON:\n", message)
  local datefile = os.date("%d-%m-%Y.txt")
  print((os.date("%x %X")), "Error: decode JSON, logged in ".. datefile)
  local log = io.open("errors/" .. datefile,"a+") -- open log
  log:write((os.date("%x %X")), "Error while decoding JSON:\n", message .. "\n") -- write in log
  log:close()

By creating the errors folder the errorsprints get printed in a current day -log instead of printing all of that data on the screen. Must have something to do with the fact that the bot cannot contact the Telegram database or some...
