goerli rpc, updated el_slasher and bls, still returns "no contract code at given address" about eigenlayer-cli HOT 6 CLOSED

I am having the same issue.

It looks like @kegdeg's eth call activity shows queries for 0x0000.. address. What is the correct value for delegation_approver_address? This is not documented.

EDIT: This is not the issue. I am having a similar issue and I have tried running my own sync'd goerli node but still no luck. Does anyone know what namespaces I need open in the geth RPC server to service everything that is needed for this?

Up until two days ago I tried with the public blast testnet and it worked. https://rpc.info/ethereum-goerli. Yesterday that stopped working. Maybe you could try one of those.

Hi. One way I have seen users fix this is to use https://dashboard.blockpi.io since you need to use goerli and there's no goerli in Alchemy. From there the eigenlayer operator register operator.yaml should work successfully. Check out the docs on this issue here on how to fix it: https://docs.eigenlayer.xyz/eigenlayer/operator-guides/troubleshooting#getting-no-contract-code-at-given-address. So either a wrong rpc url or wrong smart contract address in the config.

Can you all please upgrade to https://github.com/Layr-Labs/eigenlayer-cli/releases/tag/v0.6.1 and check the release notes for a fix and see if that works?

We had a bug in v0.6.0 and we fixed in >=v0.6.1. Apologies for the trouble.
