Not only slow... It has blocked my FF with big objects containing big objects.
The
md5 script (and an other but i've not notice witch) was said in cause by FF.
Now i
can display only the id of the objects.

An idea...
Caching the nested object and calling it to the server when requiered.
It should be a way for recursive objects...

But thank you for this marvell

FirePHP 0.2.0/0.2.1 is very slow on WinXP Sp2 in Firefox 3.3 - it is fast on
Mac OS X

This is probably my biggest problem when using firephp. Beyond some unspecified
size
of the variable, the variable viewer just pegs the CPU and then i have to kill
and
restart firefox -- a huge interruption. I find myself mousing carefully to
avoid
mousing over the variable viewer when I know the variable in there is large.

At least a way to kill the variable viewer if it has taken too long would be
nice...

Some core improvements have been made in FirePHP 1.0 + FirePHP Companion:

http://reference.developercompanion.com/#/Tools/FirePHPCompanion/Introduction/

More optimizations with multiple server round trips to fetch more data are
planned.
