How is this a MapEd idea?

Hello!
At first i would like to say, nice job to put here the complete Remake project! I hope this will as good as the previous platform was!

Snow:)
I counted 6-7 good kind of maps which have snow on. And only 2 have only full snow on it.

Anyway how is the state of the snowy buildings? If I know well some building still miss snow from the roof and from the entrance.
For this snowy option should be good two states of the buildings . When the roof is full with snow, and when just half.
If the city larger and larger the centre building are hotter then the buildings are on the edge of the village.

I still recommend more objects, mainly snowy objects before enable snowy function. If I know well for this should to use larger object base. Is the limit 255?
There are some unwalkable objects, could be possible to change them to snowy objects?

Hi t,

At the moment we have ~80% of snow houses and a dozen of connected
animation bugs that need to be fixed (many units animations are overlapping
snow coverage).

We already have the code support for the snow. When the house gets placed
it's without snow, but if the ground below is more than 50% covered with
snow, then the house gets covered in snow during 1-2 minutes IIRC. It looks
wonderful. However the main problem is - missing snow houses and animation
bugs mentioned above.

IIRC at the moment KaM uses ~2/3 of objects pool, so adding new objects is
quite possible. Although if we attempt to add snow trees that could quickly
fill it up (due to age stages and falling animations and stumps).

On a side-note, if we seriously consider implementing properly snowed maps,
we also need mineable stone deposits on snowy tiles. Atm stone can be
placed only on green grass.

All in all snow features is a big area with a lots of work to do to make it
look and feel right.
