How to add icons during runtime about ikonli HOT 5 CLOSED

Could you post the stacktrace? Otherwise it's difficult to figure out why it's failing.
Did you include all required dependencies (ikonli-core, ikonli-javafx, ikonli-material-pack)?
Which version of Ikonli did you use? And with which Java version?

Ikonli 2.4.0 works with Java 8 but not with 9, 10, and 11.
Ikonli 11.0.0 works with Java 11 but not with 8, 9, and 10.

Sorry for late response. I had the JFXButton button when clicked this piece of code get executed button.setGraphic(new FontIcon(Material.CHECK)); hence the errors but after changing it to Platform.runLater(() -> button.setGraphic(new FontIcon(Material.CHECK));); it worked. So I think i overweighted the main thread
