Well, if this is a question, you can do it by checking the already existing droplets' name in your code:

    def is_droplet_name_already_used(manager, droplet_name):
        my_droplets = manager.get_all_droplets()
        for droplet in my_droplets:
            if droplet.name == droplet_name
                return True
        return False

So you want to use this quick method to check if the droplet name is already used. ;-)
The API and the way DO works, are allowing multiple droplet with the same name, but different IDs, so we can't do much about that, and I want python-digitalocean the same behaviour of the original API... in this way devs don't fall for "surprises" and can rely on the code.
