How to stop sidekiq process and start again when using docker about sidekiq-worker-killer HOT 1 CLOSED

Hey,

As I see, docker container will be stopped and process will not wait for job to be done ( I guest so )
How we can wait for job done before shutdown sidekiq completely ?

As stated in the readme, sidekiq-worker-killer wait grace_time + shutdown_wait(default: 930 seconds) before stopping Sidekiq if jobs are running.
If after this window the job is still running, it send a sigkill and enqueue the job back to Redis before stopping Sidekiq, so that on next restart it will be treated.

How we can start again ?

You could specify a restart_policy https://docs.docker.com/compose/compose-file/compose-file-v3/#restart_policy equals to always or unless-stopped to automatically restart the container.

But a better solution would probably be to not use sidekiq-worker-killer with Docker, and simply use the --memory option of Docker to limit the available memory of your container.
