Hide icon from Dock while running (method discovered) about itunes-discord-rp HOT 4 OPEN

As you can see, the app is running and functioning, but the icon is not on the Dock. I apologize for the blurry image, I needed to compress it into oblivion as I am on a very slow and very
metered connection.

Well, interestingly enough, after a big of investigation I discovered that this alteration makes the music capturing function quit working. Quite odd. Perhaps you know more about how the backend works with this. For all I know AppleScript looks at the Music icon in the Dock or something to catch the song data.

You can't interact with its menubar items either. My guess is either this won't work period for whatever reason, or it will work but only after a large makeover in order to allow it to be fully functional without access to the menubar or Dock. (The button for showing the app window from the menubar items does still work.)

Sounds like the same problem I had when trying to do this: I was able to hide the icon from within the app, but then it stopped responding and the menubar didn't work at all.

It's definitely possible for an application to hide from the dock and still get information from iTunes/Music, but I don't think it can be done this way. This application did it: https://github.com/ithinksw/MenuTunes but it hasn't been actively developed for a long time, as you can see
