Steps to reproduce:

In Thunderbird on Windows, installed in the System Language Version (in my case German):

• add a foreign language addon (e.g. Hebrew)
• use the Simple Locale Switcher addon to switch to that language (restart Thunderbird)
• in Simple Locale Switcher check "Use System Language" which basically sets intl.locale.matchOS=true (restart Thunderbird)
• Thunderbird should now once again display its user interface in the System Language
• Try to use provider-for-google-calendar (Version 2.7)

Actual results:

The authentication page from Google is displayed in the foreign language (in my case Hebrew)

Expected results:

The authentication page should have been in the system language.

(Rather puzzling if, as it was in my case, there are several weeks between toying with the language settings and trying provider-for-google-calendar.)

The authentication page language is determined by Google so it depends on what they set. I guess we can set the hl=de parameter based on the app locale, but that might fail if Thunderbird has a different understanding of locale codes as Google does.

main branch uses browser.i18n.getUILanguage for hl, closing.
