Well I suspect this unrelated issue on the dynesty repo explains why the code freezes at 10% - "dynesty actually waits to construct the first bound until the sampling efficiency (averaged over the proposals) hits 10%". So with such a large fit it seems setting this first bound is what overwhelms the algorithm
from eureka.
This is also explicitly mentioned in the dynesty docs here
from eureka.
Well since this is not a Eureka! bug and more something to do with dynesty, properly setting your priors, and choosing the right number of run_nlive and sampling algorithm, I'm closing this issue
from eureka.
