The plugin isn't interested in any coordinates. It only needs geo localization to prevent the app from being paused while in background.

So you just execute geolocation.getCurrentPosition to receive position?

Yes otherwise the os system would pause the app in background.

The plugin starts with tracking before the app will switch to background and stops with it after the app came to foreground.
