I find your dot-emacs approach very close to my way of using emacs (and a treasure trove of elisp tidbits), and I would like to adopt it. Would it be possible to ask you a few questions about it, every now and then, at your own convenience? If so, which form would be more suitable for you: email, github tickets, perhaps you have a mailing list? For the benefit of interested others I could also make a page, if that is all right with you, perhaps for a wiki section on github. I would deeply appreciate the chance to understand and learn more about the elegant emacs wizardry that transpires from it.

I think GitHub tickets would probably be the best way, and feel free to create
a Wiki section!
