can you verify that you really have version 0.2.46?
npm update does not work sometimes and just re installing works.

what is your setting for genericDeviceType? it should be thermostat not thermometer.

@justme-1968 No, not yet. I've checked my fhem configuration. There is no such attribute present yet. I will add it by hand and let you know what happened.
Is it mandatory to add this attribute manually?

it should not be mandatory for max thermostats.
please post a jsonlist2 from such a device

i think i found the bug. please check if the latest version will work again without setting the genericDeviceType attribute explicitly.

I just updated homebridge-fhem by stopping home bridge, typing npm update -g homebridge-fhem, and starting Homebridge again.
But the problem is still existent for thermostats without the genericDeviceType attribute.
Did I do something wrong?

You were right! I was still on version 0.2.45. Good to know for the future, that npm's update is kind of buggy.
The problem is solved now!
