can you verify that you really have version 0.2.46?
npm update does not work sometimes and just re installing works.
from homebridge-fhem.
what is your setting for genericDeviceType? it should be thermostat not thermometer.
from homebridge-fhem.
@justme-1968 Do you mean the attributes for each device in FHEM?
from homebridge-fhem.
yes. did you set anything?
from homebridge-fhem.
@justme-1968 No, not yet. I've checked my fhem configuration. There is no such attribute present yet. I will add it by hand and let you know what happened.
Is it mandatory to add this attribute manually?
from homebridge-fhem.
it should not be mandatory for max thermostats.
please post a jsonlist2 from such a device
from homebridge-fhem.
@justme-1968 Setting the genericDeviceType did the trick.
from homebridge-fhem.
@justme-1968 Sorry for asking, I already found out how to retrieve the jsonlist2.

from homebridge-fhem.
i think i found the bug. please check if the latest version will work again without setting the genericDeviceType attribute explicitly.
from homebridge-fhem.
I just updated homebridge-fhem by stopping home bridge, typing npm update -g homebridge-fhem
, and starting Homebridge again.
But the problem is still existent for thermostats without the genericDeviceType attribute.
Did I do something wrong?
from homebridge-fhem.
You were right! I was still on version 0.2.45. Good to know for the future, that npm's update is kind of buggy.
The problem is solved now!
Thank you so much, for the lightning fast help!
