@dhirschfeld Sorry to be slow, I thought I had already responded, but perhaps left a comment unsent.
I agree that it would be nice to support GHE. I personally do not have access to any GHE accounts, so it would be tricky for me to test and verify. If I were to open a WIP PR with this, would you be able to test if it works?

@ian-r-rose - no worries. I was expecting to do the work myself so this issue was just to let you know my plans and get any feedback before getting stuck in. Of course if you're happy to make a start I won't say no and will be glad to test it and work with you to get it merged!
I'm at the very early stages so far - I haven't yet installed the current version so my plans are it install it and see how it works with GitHub and how that could also work for GHE.
The configurable endpoint is an obvious but very straightforward requirement. I'm not sure how the authentication will work though so plan on looking into that aspect...
