Hello !
I've added a c7 branches based on centos:centos7 https://github.com/jrottenberg/ffmpeg/tree/c7
Added that branch to the registry hook so
docker pull jrottenberg/ffmpeg:c7
should do the trick.
We use the image from master at $work as based for our custom encoding farm, so I can't guarantee centos7 will be the default anytime soon.
Let me know if it works though, it will be trivial to keep it in sync with ffmpeg releases.

Hi @jrottenberg ! Thanks for the update. I'll give it a try soon.
Yesterday I've created another Docker Image based on your image from master. I would rather work on something that is maintained though. I will run a few tests to see if there are any improvements from using c7: performance,memory, cpu, network.
