Hey there,

Personally I prefer the way it works now, as it allows you to click to focus without changing selection, while still having a clear idea whoch item you are on. But I definitely understand why you would want the behavior you are describing. Luckily you can achieve this by changing the label style to display: block; specifically you can use

.rw-selectlist>ul>li.rw-selectlist-item>label {
  display: block;
}

this will extend the label to match the hover effect. Alternatively you can override the hover effects on the <li/> tag and add them to the label instead.

Genius, thanks.

I agree with @tomByrer. This feels broken an unintuitive and would be better if labels were set to block by default. I suspect less-savvy users may be confused why nothing happens on click. I get that the fix is trivial I just think it's a more sensible default.

I agree with @willdady.
It feels broken. Not good UX.
It should be set display: block; by default.
Really. For sure.
