Winning and W CODE NOT IN DATABASE about giveaway-grabber HOT 5 CLOSED

I just published new release. I couldn't figure out the original issue here, but updated so it will write out the winning entry urls to a file and as per #35 try to confirm the address automatically. I added better error handling too so hopefully the next time you win it will properly write to the db as well.

I just checked mine the Winning entry does get recorded in gg.db .

However, I suggest that the winning entries be also written in a text file separately.

I am investigating this issue.

You can make ALL output get written to a file if you pipe it, like gg > gg.log 2>&1. Then gg.log will have all the output that normally shows up in the console.

When I try that I get the error: the handle could not be duplicated during redirection of handle 1.

I just did the gg to gg.log and it worked. Not sure what I’m missing by leaving out the numbers! Lol

With the new update, the database is working again!
