I have this same issue, but only on my new phone. My old phone also has 0.9 installed, but I was able to login there, and I'm still logged in on that phone. Maybe I can only have one copy of the app logged in at a time?

Nope, found the solution. Create a personal access token and use it instead of a password. Works fine for me.

Just installed and started on two devices:

Nexus 7: works with username + password + SMS
Galaxy Note 3: works with username + token

Go figure

I think this issue is fixed, I'll do a bit more testing myself, but any external testing is greatly appreciated.
