"-characters are escaped in resulting CSS file about simple-custom-css HOT 5 CLOSED

I have the same issue writing a background image with quoted url:

{ background: url('images/layout/border-img.png') 0 0 repeat-x; }

Is there any way around this other than using a different custom css plugin?
